The Edo State Police Command has apprehended a suspect linked to the murder of Esohe Aigbe, a 30-year-old interior decorator. Aigbe was fatally attacked while volunteering her services at a funeral in Benin City, where she was assisting a friend with decorations. Following the assault, she was transported to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital but succumbed to her injuries. Police spokesperson Eno Ikoedem confirmed that preliminary investigations have identified a suspect named Faith, who has been transferred to the homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation Department, as authorities continue to pursue additional suspects involved in the case.
