Police arrest two for attempted theft of two-week-old baby in Abia

The Abia State Police Command has apprehended two individuals, Nzubechi Chinagorom and Chinonso Chibundu, in connection with an attempted theft of a two-week-old baby. Both suspects, who are residents of Olokoro in the Umuahia South Local Government Area, face charges of conspiracy, attempted child theft, and possession of hard drugs. The police disclosed this information in a statement issued on Saturday, which was signed by DSP Maureen Chinaka, highlighting the ongoing efforts to combat child trafficking and related crimes in the region.
