The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) reported a significant increase in revenue for April, rising by 79% to N4.97 trillion. This surge in revenue is attributed to a rise in crude oil output, which reached 1.68 million barrels per day, while gas production remained stable at 7.73 billion standard cubic feet per day. Additionally, the company noted that statutory remittances totaled N3.71 trillion over the first four months of the year, reflecting a robust financial performance. The profit for the month climbed to N481 billion, indicating a strong operational outcome for the NNPC.
