The cholera outbreak in Borno State has resulted in 37 fatalities, with more than 3,000 confirmed cases reported across 36 wards in seven local government areas. Dr. Saleh Abba Kaza, the executive secretary of the Borno State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency, provided these figures during a recent update. The outbreak commenced on May 1, and health authorities are actively working to manage and contain the spread of the disease in affected regions. Efforts are being intensified to provide medical assistance and raise awareness about preventive measures among the local population.
