The Tuberculosis and Leprosy Health Centre in Narayi, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has deteriorated significantly, transforming from a prominent treatment facility into a neglected site. An investigation by PUNCH Healthwise has uncovered that the hospital's infrastructure has been severely compromised, with parts of it washed away by erosion. As a result of this decline, tuberculosis patients are now compelled to seek treatment outdoors, often under trees, highlighting the urgent need for intervention to restore healthcare services in the region.
