The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Joash Amupitan, SAN, is leading a delegation to the inaugural ceremony of the International Election Observation Programme (IEOP) in the Republic of Korea. The programme is focused on the Nationwide Simultaneous Local Elections and is taking place from May 29 to June 5, 2026. The IEOP is organized by the South Korean government to enhance international collaboration in monitoring electoral processes.
