Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have intercepted shipments containing high potency illicit drugs concealed within water purifier machines that arrived in Lagos from the Netherlands. The operation led to the seizure of three kilograms of ketamine and 199 grams of MDMA, commonly known as Ecstasy pills. These drugs were strategically hidden within the machinery to evade detection. The NDLEA continues to investigate the source and intended distribution of these illegal substances.
