Suspected bandits have carried out an abduction of Major General Rabe Abubakar (retd.), a former Director of Defence Information, along with his wife in Katsina State. The incident occurred on Saturday as the couple was traveling on the Katsina-Matazu Road. Eyewitness accounts indicate that they were intercepted by heavily armed assailants, who subsequently took them away. Authorities have been alerted, and investigations are underway to locate the victims and apprehend the perpetrators.
