Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully intercepted a significant shipment of illicit drugs concealed within water purifier machines transported from the Netherlands to Lagos. The operation resulted in the seizure of over 1.2 tonnes of skunk, alongside three kilograms of ketamine and 199 grams of other narcotics. This discovery is part of a broader initiative by the NDLEA to combat drug trafficking and distribution across Nigeria, highlighting the agency's ongoing commitment to curbing the illegal drug trade in the country.
