Huawei Thanks U.S. for Chip Curbs, Says it Accelerated China’s Semiconductor Rise

Huawei's Rotating Chairman and Deputy Chairman, Xu Zhijun, stated that the technology restrictions imposed by the United States have inadvertently spurred advancements in China's semiconductor industry. He noted that these sanctions have compelled Chinese companies to accelerate innovation and enhance their domestic chipmaking capabilities. In an interview, Xu highlighted Huawei's progress in developing its LogicFolding chip architecture, among other semiconductor technologies, as a direct response to the challenges posed by U.S. restrictions.
