The Department of State Services (DSS) has apprehended five individuals, among whom are two nationals from Niger, in connection with the recent assault on a school in Niger State. These suspects are believed to be involved in the trafficking of arms to the assailants responsible for the attack. In the course of the operation, the DSS recovered a significant cache of weapons, including 15 AK rifles and 1,434 rounds of ammunition. The agency continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the attack and the broader implications of the arms trafficking network.
