President Bola Tinubu has sanctioned the recruitment of 1,000 forest guards in Oyo State to enhance security measures in response to recent abductions of pupils and teachers in the region. This decision was made public during a visit by a Federal Government delegation, which included Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to the President. In addition to the recruitment of forest guards, a specialized rescue team has also been deployed to assist in addressing the security challenges faced by the state. These initiatives aim to bolster safety and restore confidence among the local populace.
