The Department of State Services (SSS) has arrested five individuals believed to be connected to the abduction of 300 schoolchildren in Niger State. According to an insider from the agency, the suspects were taken into custody during a series of coordinated intelligence-led operations. These operations also resulted in the recovery of 15 AK-103 rifles, 15 magazines, and 1,434 rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition. The arrests are part of ongoing efforts to enhance security and combat abductions in the region.
