The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has inaugurated the new board of the Nigerian Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) Council in Ikeja, Lagos. Mr. Muhammed Rudman, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of the Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN), has been retained as Chairman of the board. The NCC emphasized the importance of the council in advancing Nigeria's digital migration efforts, highlighting the critical role of IPv6 in enhancing the country's telecommunications infrastructure.
