The Department of State Services (DSS) has apprehended five individuals, among them two nationals from Niger Republic, linked to the kidnapping incident involving nearly 300 students and staff at Papiri School. During the operation, the DSS also seized a significant cache of weapons, including 15 AK rifles and 1,434 rounds of ammunition. The arrests are part of ongoing efforts to address security challenges and ensure the safety of educational institutions in the region. The suspects are currently in custody as investigations continue.
