Dele Oye, the Chairman of the Alliance for Economic Research and Ethics LTD/GTE, has expressed concerns regarding the Federal Government's portrayal of recent reforms in the energy sector. He highlighted that Nigerian businesses have spent approximately N2 trillion on diesel within a two-month period, indicating a significant financial burden. Oye emphasized that despite government claims of progress, the average Nigerian is still grappling with high fuel prices, inconsistent electricity supply, and escalating production costs, which he described as a stark contrast to the government's optimistic narrative.
