Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have apprehended five individuals, including two nationals from Niger, in connection with the abduction of students and staff from Mary’s Catholic School in Papiri village, Niger State. The suspects are believed to be involved in supplying arms to the gunmen responsible for the attack, which occurred on November 21, 2025, resulting in the kidnapping of nearly 300 individuals. The DSS continues to investigate the case and gather further evidence related to the abduction.
