Court Rejects Rwanda’s £100m Claim Against UK Over Scrapped Migrant Deal

The Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) in The Hague has ruled against Rwanda's claim for over £100 million ($135 million) from the United Kingdom, which was associated with a scrapped migrant deportation agreement. The court determined that the UK is not liable for the two years of outstanding payments that Rwanda sought. This decision concludes the legal dispute regarding the financial obligations stemming from the now-abandoned deal between the two nations.
