The Lagos State Government has intensified its measures to prevent the entry of the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) into Nigeria amid concerns of regional spread. On Saturday, the Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, conducted a comprehensive inspection of facilities at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) alongside representatives from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Port Health, and the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA). This collaborative effort aims to enhance surveillance and response protocols to ensure the safety of travelers and the general public.
