Mercy Ogbuehi Widows and Orphans Foundation (MOWOF) inaugurated a new vocational training centre on March 18, 2026, located at Old Road, Nekede, Owerri, Imo State. This initiative aims to empower widows, orphans, and other vulnerable individuals through skill acquisition and social support programs. In a related effort, the foundation has also provided assistance to 46 widows and other beneficiaries in Lagos, reinforcing its commitment to improving the livelihoods of marginalized groups. The establishment of the centre is part of MOWOF's broader mission to enhance the socio-economic status of those it serves.
