The Supreme Court of Nigeria has annulled a previous order that froze the assets of oil companies Nestoil and Neconde. This decision was reached by a five-member panel on Monday in Abuja, which determined that the appeal court had overstepped its authority by issuing an ex parte application against the firms. As a result of this ruling, the assets of both companies will no longer be subject to the freezing order previously imposed.
