Qatar Charity has successfully distributed food baskets to families from Yemeni, Syrian, and Sudanese communities in Somalia, as well as to Somali families displaced from Yemen. This initiative, part of the "The Greatest Days" campaign, aimed to assist 1,854 individuals facing difficult living conditions, particularly during the significant period of Dhul-Hijjah. Abdulfatah Adam, the Country Director of Qatar Charity’s Somalia Branch, emphasized that beneficiaries were carefully selected to ensure that aid reached those in greatest need. The campaign not only focuses on immediate food assistance but also includes long-term projects aimed at improving food security and addressing water shortages through various humanitarian efforts in Somalia.
