A recent survey conducted by Google and Ipsos revealed that 88% of Nigerian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have experimented with artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. However, despite the initial enthusiasm, many of these businesses ultimately discontinue their use of AI solutions. Factors contributing to this trend include challenges related to implementation, lack of technical expertise, and insufficient resources to sustain AI initiatives. The findings highlight the need for improved support systems to help SMEs effectively integrate AI into their operations.
