Troops from Operation WHIRL STROKE successfully neutralised four bandits and rescued two individuals who had been abducted in operations conducted across Taraba and Benue states. According to Lieutenant Ahmad Zubairu Zubairu, the acting Media Information Officer for the Headquarters Joint Task Force, the operation also resulted in the recovery of one AK-47 rifle along with ammunition. Additionally, the troops dismantled a significant illicit drug network during their mission, contributing to ongoing efforts to enhance security in the region.
