The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) concluded its case against Ali Bello and his co-defendant, Dauda Suleiman, on June 2, 2026, in the Federal High Court, Maitama, Abuja. The EFCC presented a total of 17 witnesses to support its allegations of fraud amounting to N10.2 billion. The proceedings were overseen by Justice James Omotosho, who is presiding over the case. Following the presentation of evidence, the court is expected to schedule further hearings to address the defendants' responses.
