The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) has announced the suspension of the industrial action that was initiated by its workers after productive discussions with the relevant labour unions. The strike, which began on Monday, was primarily driven by internal grievances, particularly regarding issues related to foreign training opportunities and overall employee welfare. Following the negotiations, both parties have reached an agreement that has led to the cessation of the strike, allowing normal operations to resume within the commission.
