Cyprian Atata, an aspirant for the House of Assembly representing the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has formally submitted a petition to the party's National Chairman. In his complaint, Atata alleges that there was falsification of results during the primary election held in Isu Local Government Area. He has declared himself the legitimate winner of the election, contesting the official results announced by the party.
