In Sharya Township, located in the Duhok Governorate of Iraq's Kurdistan Region, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) has launched an Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) aimed at empowering both internally displaced persons and local community members. Notable success stories include Dilbreen Khalid Alyas, who enhanced his bakery business through improved facilities and marketing strategies, and Gulistan Shakir Yazdeen, who launched a stationary business with the necessary tools and knowledge gained from the program.
