The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has issued a strong warning regarding the deteriorating security situation in the country, citing escalating violence, kidnappings, and killings as significant threats to peace and national stability. In response to these concerns, CAN has called for a state of emergency to be declared on security matters. Additionally, the association has designated June 14 as a national mourning day to honor the victims of the ongoing violence and to raise awareness about the urgent need for improved security measures across Nigeria.
