The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has formally requested the federal government to declare a state of emergency on security in order to protect the lives and property of citizens nationwide. This appeal was made by the President of CAN, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, during a press conference held in Abuja on Tuesday. The call was part of a communiqué released following the association's National Executive Council meeting, highlighting the urgent need for enhanced security measures in the face of rising threats.
