The arraignment of United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc and four other defendants, including Muyiwa Akinyemi and Amangbo Eziashi, for an alleged N4.29 billion foreign exchange fraud was postponed due to their absence from the Lagos State Special Offences Court on June 3, 2026. Justice Rahman Oshodi presided over the proceedings, which could not move forward as the defendants were not present to face the charges. The court has yet to reschedule the hearing, leaving the case in a state of uncertainty.
