The Lagos State Government has announced an intensified effort to eliminate counterfeit, expired, substandard, and unsafe products from markets and distribution outlets across the state. This initiative aims to safeguard the health and well-being of residents by ensuring that only safe and quality goods are available for purchase. Mr. Afolabi Solebo, the General Manager of the Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency (LASCOPA), emphasized the government's commitment to this cause in a recent statement. The agency will be actively monitoring and enforcing regulations to protect consumers from harmful products.
