The 16th Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has officially suspended Malam Rabi’u Yusuf, the Village Head of Rikadawa in the Madobi Local Government Area, due to allegations of his involvement in an illegal land sale. This decision was made public on Wednesday during a hearing held by the Kano Emirate Council, which addressed complaints submitted regarding the matter. The Emirate Council is expected to further investigate the allegations to determine the appropriate course of action moving forward.
