The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has initiated the return phase of the 2026 Hajj exercise, successfully airlifting 1,546 Nigerian pilgrims from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia back to Nigeria. This operation commenced on June 3, marking the beginning of the pilgrims' journey home after completing their religious obligations in Mecca. NAHCON is overseeing the logistics of the return flights to ensure a smooth transition for the pilgrims.
