President Bola Tinubu has formally submitted a request to the Senate for the confirmation of Dr. Zainab Marwa as a member of the Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC). Dr. Marwa's nomination is intended to represent the North-East geopolitical zone. This request was communicated to the Senate during a session, where Senate President Godswill Akpabio read the letter outlining the nomination. The Senate will now consider the appointment as part of its legislative duties.
