Justice Mohammed Umar of the Federal High Court in Abuja has denied an application for adjournment filed by Omoyele Sowore, the publisher of Sahara Reporters, in relation to his ongoing trial for cyberbullying. The request, presented by Sowore's lawyer, Marshall Abubakar, sought to postpone proceedings until after the court's upcoming vacation. In his ruling, Justice Umar emphasized the need to proceed with the trial without delay, thereby maintaining the court's schedule.
