Troops from the 12 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, part of the 2nd Division, successfully rescued a mother and her six-month-old infant after they were abducted in Egbe, located in the Yagba West local government area of Kogi State. The rescue operation was confirmed by Lt. Hassan Abdullahi, the acting assistant director of Army Public Relations for the brigade. Following the incident, the army has intensified its efforts to locate and apprehend the kidnappers responsible for the abduction.
