Babafemi Ojudu, a former presidential adviser on Political Matters, stated that Olusegun Obasanjo did not prioritize the interests of the Yoruba people during his presidency in Nigeria. In an interview on Channels Television’s Inside Sources, Ojudu criticized the calls for a rotational presidency, arguing that such demands could undermine the importance of competence in governance. He emphasized that the focus should remain on the capabilities of leaders rather than their ethnic backgrounds.
