The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command has apprehended three individuals suspected of kidnapping, who were featured in a viral video displaying AK-47 rifles and other military gear. The FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Sanusi, reported that upon receiving the video, he initiated a forensic investigation to trace its origins and ordered the suspects' immediate arrest. Following actionable intelligence, police operatives conducted a coordinated operation in Runji Village, Zuba, on May 25, resulting in the capture of Umar Babangida, Adamu Yeti, and Yahaya Idris, all from Rijana, Kaduna State. Investigations revealed that the suspects had acquired their firearms from a gang leader known only as “Esco,” who remains at large, and further inquiries have led to the discovery of additional incriminating materials on the suspects' mobile devices.
