Obafemi Hamzat appoints Obanikoro as DG of Lagos governorship campaign

The announcement was made during an expanded meeting of the campaign council held on Wednesday in Lagos. This appointment received the endorsement of President Bola Tinubu, who praised Obanikoro's extensive experience in various political roles at both state and national levels. Obanikoro has previously served as a commissioner, senator, and minister, and is recognized for his contributions to Lagos politics, including his tenure as a former governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
