The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has acknowledged an increased risk of Ebola importation following recent outbreaks in neighboring regions. Mr. Idris, a representative of the NCDC, stated that the agency has heightened its preparedness measures across the country to ensure that Nigeria is equipped to swiftly detect, investigate, and respond to any potential cases of the disease. Despite the elevated risk, he confirmed that Nigeria has not recorded any cases of Ebola to date.
