The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is currently prosecuting Blessing Okoro, the CEO of a company, on two counts related to obtaining money by false pretence and stealing. The charges involve an alleged fraud amounting to N36 million. A court hearing regarding Okoro's bail application is scheduled for June 9, where the judge will decide whether to grant her release pending the outcome of the trial.
