Ambassador Tijjani Muhammad Bande, the former President of the United Nations General Assembly, has been appointed to chair the inaugural International Conference organized by the Department of Mass Communication at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto. The conference is set to commence on June 7, with a pre-conference lecture scheduled for Sunday, June 4. Danladi Bako, the Chairman of the Organising Committee, made this announcement during a press briefing in Sokoto, highlighting the significance of the event for the academic community.
