The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has refuted allegations regarding the death of cybercrime suspect Asar Michael Sesugh while in custody. According to the EFCC, Sesugh was shot fatally after he managed to escape from detention in Makurdi. The commission emphasized that the claims of his death occurring while in their custody are inaccurate.
