The Nigeria Police successfully rescued Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, the younger sister of former Minister of Power Chief Adebayo Adelabu, along with her 12-year-old twin sons, Peter and Paul, during a rescue operation conducted on Saturday. The victims had been abducted on June 3, 2026, while en route to school. During the operation, two suspected kidnappers were neutralized in a gunfight with police, and two firearms were seized from the suspects. Authorities are continuing their search for additional members of the kidnapping gang, some of whom are believed to have sustained injuries and fled the scene.
