Hyacinth Aondona Dajoh, the former speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly and representative for Gboko West Constituency, has claimed that his removal from office by Governor Hyacinth Alia was due to his refusal to endorse a proposal to relocate the palace of the Tor Tiv to Ihugh, the governor's hometown in Vandeikya. In response to these allegations, Alia's chief press secretary has not yet issued a statement to clarify the circumstances surrounding Dajoh's dismissal.
