Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has responded to Babachir David Lawal, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, by accusing him of engaging in divisive and ethnically charged rhetoric. In a statement released by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication, Phrank Shaibu, Atiku expressed disappointment that someone of Babachir's stature would resort to such language. He emphasized the need for unity and constructive dialogue in addressing national issues rather than fostering bitterness and division.
