According to the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, the country's total services trade, which includes both imports and exports, increased by 4.9 percent year on year, reaching approximately 2.49 trillion yuan (around $346 billion) in the first four months of 2026. This growth has been attributed to the thriving sector of knowledge-intensive exports. The data was reported by CGTN, highlighting the ongoing expansion of China's services sector in the global market.
