The trial of Gabriel Suswam, the former Governor of Benue State, concerning allegations of a ₦3.1 billion fraud, has now reached its 12th year. Suswam, alongside his former Commissioner for Finance, Omodachi Oklobia, was initially arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on November 4, 2015.
