Dr. Chike Obidigbo, an elder statesman and convener of the Igbochukwu Organisation, has expressed disappointment over the omissions in retired General Yakubu Gowon's autobiography regarding the events of the Nigeria-Biafra war from 1967 to 1970. He criticized Gowon for allegedly neglecting to address the genocide faced by the Igbo people during this period. Obidigbo emphasized that at the age of 90, Gowon should have taken the opportunity to acknowledge and reflect on these historical truths.
